I overheard some people the other day talking about Lyfe's song "Statistics" and basically they was saying that he was talking about some craziness and this to me just solidified in my mind the fact that some women out here a truly delusional or in deep denial because if you take the time and listen to the song then you will know that it's nothing but the truth. So, I decided to break down just the rules of this song, so that you can really understand.
RULE #1: DON'T BE A BOOTY CALL: “IF HE DON'T RESPECT YOU, THEN HE WILL FORGET YOU,GIRL"
It gets no simpler than this, just because you lay down with someone doesn't mean that they respect you, to be honest it doesn't even mean that they like you. You where just available when they needed you. So, learn to respect yourself because ultimately the way you choose to carry yourself, is the way you choose to be treated. So, if you carry yourself like a WHORE, then expect to be treated like one.
RULE # 2: IF HE'S IN A RELATIONSHIP: "IF HE WOULD CHEAT ON HER THAT MEANS HE WILL CHEAT ON YOU"
I talk to people daily and it just blows my mind how they truly believe that they are going to be the one to stop his vicious cycle of infidelity. When you mature enough to understand that when a person cheats it's not about you but about them and their inability to commit. So, no matter how many promises he makes you, or how many times he tells you that you're different. Ain't nothing that you have is more special than the other girl.
I have to add a little extra to this one because it's some strait triflin chicks out there who are content with being with someone else's man because they feel like they are getting all the perks but doing none of the work. I have a reality check for you, the only thing that you are doing is what the "wifey" won't. The only person that get hurts from this is you because when it's all said and done all you really are is a WHORE.
RULE #3: TELL HIM THAT YOU CELEB AND IF YOU WANT SOME OF YOUR GOODIES THEN HE'S HAS TO WORK FOR IT
Simply put everything that you have that you value the most, you got from putting in some type of work. You need to have that mindset when it comes to your relationship because in truth it's just like a job in which you can't just show up and get a check you have to put in work. Not to mention, when you start giving away what really is suppose to be your most cherished treasure then it starts to loose it's value.
RULE #4: BE THE PERSON YOU WANT TO FIND: "DON'T BE A NICKEL OUT HERE LOOKING FOR DIME"
Before you can start any relationship you first need to know who you and what you want out of life and out of the relationship. The reason why so many relationships fail is because you are trying to find someone to complete you which will never happen. Your companion is there to enhance what you already are but until you know who you are you will be searching for someone who does not exist.
I hope this puts something’s in perspective for some people and if I offended some people, OH WELL, this is my opinion it's not the law but if you feel some type a way about I welcome all of your feedback.
