What is GOD calling you to DO?

I had the great blog in my mind to write for y'all on Saturday but literally as I set down to write it my mind went blank.I tried for two days to get back my message and then I realized that my internal conflict has been creating a mental block. You see I am believer in Jesus Christ and although I never push my religion on anyone I still try my best to live my life according to his will. I have not write been doing that I mean I have recharged my passion which is non profit work with hopes of creating a HOPE center for my city but there has been another calling tugging at my heart that I have been trying for the last six months trying to ignore or maybe out run but then I heard a word .. You can not out run  God. John 14:15 state " I you love me, you will obey what I command". I have not been doing that I have been running afraid of what people might think about me, not wanting to become a hypocrite or the type of "church folk" that i always talk about bu...

Let Me Love You

As I sit in my living room speaking to my other half and although we have known each other for such a long time it was only when we faced adversity and possibly losing each other that we realized that in order for us to truly be in love that, we first had to allow love in our lives. Although, we would like to think that we are better than our parents and because we are grown that our childhood doesn’t really impact our adult decision but truth is that it does. I mean, I was personally ready to throw fifteen tears away because I didn’t truly know how to give a 100 % of myself to someone else. So, here are a few things that we learned that help build our relationship and actually made love our love so much deeper … I hope it helps  1.       Let Go our your past : Throughout life we tend to pick up baggage from our past whether it be the divorce of our parents, parents not being our lives, not having parents, past relationships, wh...

Clean it up

It is so weird that when I look at so many people that I encounter that amongst all the other craziness, one thing that I have noticed that we have some where stepped back from taking accountability for our actions. WE have grown accustom to playing the victim card regardless of the situation.  I was raised in a Christian household and if my parents didn’t instill nothing else in I was taught to always hold myself accountable for the decisions that I make because Romans 14:12 states “So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. “  Which really always stuck with me that when it is my time give my curtain call and I have to my one on one with God, he is not going to ask me, Why I did the things that I did or even who I did them with but he will ask of my to account for my own actions. I am by no means stating that people do not wrong you, that you will walk this life and never be the victim but what I will give you this passage of comfort th...

Do Not Resuscitate

This has been on my mind for a while so yall know that I would not be me if I didn’t express this. You see I am currently taking courses at Liberty University as I expand my own knowledge and I also get to learn more about the Lord which is a double major for me. But as I build my relationship with God, he often speaks to me. A week ago I saved a picture quote on my phone that read, “Stop watering things that were never meant to grow in your life”, funny thing is the quote was posted by Bishop TD Jakes. Now if you follow me on any of my social media pages then you would know that I post a lot of inspirational and thought provoking stuff but something about this quote just stuck to me and as I stroll down my time and I notice the turmoil of not only the world with all the violence but people and their individual lives and God spoke so clearly when he told me I had to expound upon this the meaning behind the message. I see so many people trying to breathe life into a situa...

LETTING GO OF THE NEGATIVITY

HEY LOVES !! I do apologize for the impromptu hiatus but I have been trying to restructure my company and expand my brand. But  I am BACK and I missed you all so much. But recently and especially in the spirit of LENT I have been trying to scrub the negative and bad vices out of my life and I wish I could tell you that it has been easy but it has not but I was searching online I saw this article for a life hack to get rid of negativity and allow positivity to flow in your life .. I put a little Coach Destiny tweak on it .. But here we go   Be Grateful for everything : Everyday that you are allowed to take breath should be considered a good day. Stop harping on the bad .the past and stop worrying about the future for all of these things are beyond your control but steady your focus on the present a gift that lies right in front of you.  Laugh More ..especially at yourself : I think we take ourselves to seriously and laughter is indeed a dose a medicine that we...

10 ToxIc People You Should Leave in 2014

I was strolling through my facbook time line and I saw this article not only was it interesting and true and I waned to share it with you all.. Can you believe that it’s already December? This year has flown by in the blink of an eye and we’re on the verge of yet another year — a year full of possibility. What you will accomplish next year greatly depends on the people you surround yourself with. Or, in other words, it greatly depends on which people you decide not to surround yourself with. When bringing in the new year, be sure not to bring all your garbage with you. Leave these toxic individuals in 2014; you’ll feel much lighter, allowing you to get a great running start on the year to come. 1. The people who make your life more stressful. Stress isn’t necessarily a bad thing — in fact, it’s what you make it out to be. If you believe stress is bad for you, then it will be bad for you. If you use stress as the motivator it is, to motivate you to act, th...
